Payperpost Blog
A must have component of any web2.0 company is a blog where the company updates its customers about its operations and events. Such blogs not only provide an insight into the company’s operations but, it gives a sneak preview of the company’s offerings. Payperpost blog is no exception – it lists service outages, events and exhibitions attended by PPP, important press coverages, posts by employees of PPP, any other new service launches (like rockstartup) by PPP, crazy PPP videos and more importantly party invites and notifications. I was very much interested in knowing how the search engines treated the paid blog posts and if they give their worth to track the links provided by paid bloggers. I found an answer in the recent blog post at payperpost blog, where the companies like Google, Yahoo and MSN say that as long as the content is related to the link – they would not penalize the the links. Interesting how it would turn the whole advertising campaigns in the future.
