With a moviemind, you can get instant recommendations by saying what movies you liked in the past. Just no sign-ups, nothing. You will like the recommendations.

We have already seen such a site named movielens (by far the best!)- which came out of the research at University of Minnesota.

Also, orkut-like social network – flixster – which is really trying to put up a show (when I checked last, the recommendations were lame! say, if you liked Shrek, they will recommend Shrek 2 and 3..LOL!).
