How to have a Winning attitude at Workplace
An employee’s attitude towards the organization determines her or his commitment towards work. A person with high level of dedication and activity is very likely to show extra role behaviors. It means you are beyond the job profile you are working as. Such people have great scope of growth.
i. Employees who have high self confidence are likely to take personal initiative more often at work. They are more likely to take charge of changing the organization for good.
ii. Try to implement new ways of doing a task. See that it is effective than your previous ways.
iii. Attempt to change the things at your hand that are not productive.
iv. Give suggestions if asked for on how to improve. Never be talkative and never give away advices when not asked for.
v. Try to be innovative and be dynamic to changes of the organization since they need you to be so.
vi. Make sure that you do tasks assigned to you in time effectively, at least during initial stages and later try to continue do the same.
vii. First impression is the best impression. This holds true even at your work. If your superior or boss is really encouraging then try to impress him without any thought.
viii. If you have ability to do a task never step back due to influences from colleagues since it could be an opportunity to grow faster in career.
Show high levels of effort when organization is in need of such commitment. It will definitely recognize and reward your efforts. This kind of attitude will keep you free from all worries daily at work. Indirectly it will boost the chances of getting on to a fast track career.
